right i have my work experiance in a few months and just wondering if its a good idea to go to a farm if thats wat im wanting to do would probably be the one i work on so would mean i could do lots there but just wondering

i did it ben burgess, a big tractor dealer, i think something like that is probably a gd idea, as they dont like the health and safety on farms Razz

Yeh, if you apply for a farm for your work experience, health and safety will have a field day, I was going to apply but they said i'd be reluctant to get it. So I went to the police instead for 2 weeks, but only did 1 cos I nearly broke my back the start of the second week, oh the irony.

I did my Work Exp @ Land rover in Gaydon Smile Prototype operations Was quality. HSE (from what i could gater, wasnt that bad.)

Health and Safety is a burdan wherever you go. I went to a local agri engineer and the amount of rules there were was ridiculous. Basically all I could really do was watch. Not really WORK experience, but oh well.

I asked my godfather if i could go to work on his farm but he said no Sad but went and worked at a rugby club doing a grounds job was good wasnt much work so good hours Laughing Razz & cos of the health and safety he didnt let me do much Sad Then my uncle said i sould have gone and worked on his farm Sad

i know some one who knows some 1 who is doing a apprenticeship there.

on mine i went to johnston Gilpins a John Deere delership (i was in the mechanic workshop) it was class wasnt any health and safety i got to do watever Very Happy
