I like it, specially that they use 1 tractor brand and also 1 trailers brand. Almost all contractors near from where i live use also 1 tractor brand and also 1 trailer brand, i like that. _________________

im no expert. but i think the logical reason for this is because of maintenence and repairs. instead of having 20 different filters, they need 3. stuff like that. and it makes feild repairs much easier. and if you need to go to the dealer to get something, its one stop shopping. i like the idea meself. _________________

You get better discount from the dealer if a contractor buys a job lot, which helps with finance deals and individual prices of equipment. It also so that some contractors can recognised by the brand of tractor without even looking at the logos on the kit. But your right about maintainence, and replacement parts etc. _________________

Its an 8 row header
The contractors tractors are leased machines not all off them he owns a few but he says its better to lease them because if something goes wrong he wont be paying for the repair & he is guaranted a replacement & it saves him money as well & if all the kit matches it looks a lot smarter & as you say easily recognised _________________
