I'm currently working on a new website for farmers called Farmingconnected. it's a big map where you can add your farm, add images and videos, and make friends.

Check it out. It's not finished but it's usable.

Thanks. It's kinda been hashed together in my spare time. If it's popular then i'll start working on a new version later in the year, with more features, better navigation and cross-browser support (the site doesnt support Safari or Chrome at the moment)

We're using Microsoft Virtual Earth for the site at the moment, it's microsoft's alternative to google earth/google maps. Virtual Earth can handle heck of alot of stuff, there's plenty of features i've left out but in the future i've got lots of plans (birds-eye/3d view..)

IE, Add farmingconnected as a trusted site:
Tools -> internet options -> privacy -> sites -> type "farmingconnected.com" -> click allow.

Or Firefox:
Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Exceptions -> type "farmingconnected.com" -> click allow.
