Well a Case 885 with a ten foot mower on a flat road can do 22 MPH pulling the throttle back as hard as possible.

we used to have a db 996 and you could do that sort of thing but we always found with the 390s you couldnt cause the tractor was never allowed to properly free-wheel because of the transmission or something Razz

Honestly, i would be scared if i was going that fast on something that old. I have seen a Farmall F-12 with a harley davidson motor and i have thought about putting a 12 HP motor on my gocart and attaching it to the pto clutch. But that is fast!

Our Valtra A95's top speed is 43 km/h
And International 844XL ~30 km/h
Our Massey Ferguson 165S is slow. Top speed is only ~24 km/h.

Have anyone MB-Track? It's very fast tractor. Top speed is even 80 km/h! Cool

just found a law (in last weeks farmers weekly as this weeks didn't come Evil or Very Mad ), It clearly states that you shouldn't be going more than 20 mph with a load on the back, and aloud of other stuff, for example:

Quote:
If you are going to be travailing with something over 3meters wide or 4meters long then you need to inform the police 24hrs before.

To be honest they couldn't give a damn, we've informed them before, even asked for a escort the wrong way down a one way lane, they never turned up, so now we don't bother.
