Thanks Wink

We left early because we were going to look at some equipment on the way home.

The 747 was not as big of a deal as I thought, but I only seen it sitting.

Now the Tiger on the other hand Cool

Yea i though the 747 would be a bit bigger but when they have 2 (count um 1, 2) 42,000 lb transfer sleds and a JD 4020 hooked behind it and he is upshifting all the way down the track you know that is a Bad A$$ tractor. Cool I think they said the was in 10th gear by the time he ran out of track and the governor hadnt even kicked in yet.

the sad part is they have to retire the BIG BUD because the tires are about shot and once that set is gone there arent any more like them and it would cost to much to have them made because the molds were destroyed. So after it gets back home to montana its just gonna sit and get looked at.

couldn't they put on different tyre's with the same size? i know the tyre's were perfect for the 747 but it would be a shame that that tractor can't do any work anymore.

There are tires that will fit it but they are off a mining dump truck so it kinda takes away from the look of the tractor. Kinda like putting car tires on a monster truck.

Just a little fum fact, When those tires where new the lugs were 8 inches tall Shocked now they are a little less that 2

They are 16 ply. But its 16 layers of some of the hardest rubber you have ever seen.
