any chance that their are any jobs for me in the s/e england this summer and spring

i live near hastings and am nearly 16
i have had plenty of experiance with big and small tractors, and can drive and use a telehandeler
i can reverse a trailor and can do all the normal tricks Smile
i can correctly maintain the machinary that i use, and on my last job was told off for waisting soo much time greasing my tractor and trailor Rolling Eyes
i can cut grass correctly using the box tecnique and understand about driving correctly on the headlands of the feilds

anyway email me if you can offer me a part-time job, or some work experiance, as i am currently home-educated

cool you get home schooled. lol i wonder why they wuld tell you off for doin that i wuld be glad if a employee wuld grease the bearings and u joints daily

yer but not every 45 mins.....although it was rather hot weather and was doin alot of chainging direction and corners..

too much grease is just as bad as too little, grease heats up, it bursts bearing seals and attracts dust and dust rubbing on metal causes wear, pto spicers last for a few weeks and tractor drive shafts dont need greased till 500 hours +

Farm maintence/tractor maintence of course you are going to get derty. I don't know if you go down to the farm in your best clothes but I don't care if I get dirty, after all it is OUTDOOR WORK!

Anyways, you do not get dirty greasing if you do not pump it like an idiot

lol wonder who called em that anyway. yeh that is right in our owners manual every 10 hrs or so or dialy u shuld grease the bearings and stuff. never herd of grease catching on fire like that but poped seals is common yeh

grese dont catch fire.. just ehats up, and when it heats up it expands this is what pops the seals...
